Terms of use

1. What it is. Ovin searches the web and, if you want, gives an AI answer with sources, or a chat. Use is free. You don't need an account. An account is only for extras and is available from age 16.
2. AI answers. These are made automatically and can contain mistakes. Check important information through the sources. On health, law, tax and money an answer is never personal advice: consult a doctor, lawyer or adviser, or the official source.
3. Fair use. Don't read out the service automatically (scraping) or query it in bulk, don't misuse or get around the system, and don't use the chat for anything unlawful. If it is misused, we may restrict access.
4. Other people's content. Search results point to other people's websites. We are not responsible for them. To have something removed or to report it, see Removal and reporting. How we decide on reports is also there.
5. Liability. We do our best to keep the service working and available, but we don't guarantee that everything is always right or always works. We are not liable for damage from using a free service, except in case of intent or gross negligence on our part or where the law says otherwise.
6. Changes. We may change these terms. We announce material changes on the site in advance. If you have an account, you also get an email.
7. Law. Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer, you may also go to the courts where you live, and you keep the protection of the law of your own country.
